Iver
Heath Village Hall has been on its present site, which is leased
from Bucks County Council, since 1965 having replaced a smaller
hall on Church Road.
Funds for the new hall were provided by St Margaret's Church, local
fundraising and South Bucks District Council. The hall is a self
financing registered charity and it depends largely on income from
lettings and fundraising events organised by the management committee
which oversees the day-to-day running of the hall. Although it is
independent of the Parish Council it is supported by them through
annual grants and donations. St Margaret's Church also retains an
interest in the hall.
The
purpose of the Iver Heath Village Hall is to provide a venue for
the local community to meet on a regular basis or for a one-off
special occasion. We welcome bookings from all groups no matter
how large or small. We aim to keep the hire charges as low as possible
to encourage wide participation.
It is suitable for weddings, birthday parties and other celebrations
in addition to smaller meetings and gatherings.
Over 20 groups regularly hire the village hall each week and if
you are interested in joining one of them please refer to our regular
lettings page for more information and contact them directly. |
