NOTICE OF GROUND INVESTIGATION SURVEYS FROM HS2 – COMMENCING DECEMBER 18TH FOR 8 WEEKS
What are HS2’s Contractors doing ?
HS2 Ltd is carrying out investigatory works into the proposal to build a new train depot at Langley for the transfer of the Heathrow Express from Old Oak Common, West London. HS2 Ltd is proposing to carry out ground investigation work in the proposed site of the depot which are anticipated to start from the 18 December lasting for eight weeks.
The initial work will be non-intrusive such as water sampling, utility surveys and tree surveys. From 8 January their contractors will start to drill boreholes to take earth samples.

We are assured their contractor will work as quickly as they can, avoid unnecessary noise and keep the area tidy. Once the work is complete, our contractor will restore the area to its previous condition.
