*** IMPORTANT UPDATE ! - DESIGNATION OF AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT AREA IN IVER ***

Dear residents,

SBDC has now published the Air Quality findings for Iver carried out in 2016/2017, the Healthy Communities Policy Advisory Group has also published its report recommending the declaration of an Air Quality Management Area (AQMA).

Please see the attached table where you will find the results of the monitoring work carried out and where the limits are exceeded.

A formal consultation will take place and an AQMA is expected to be announced in time, however, there are currently three options being considered (please see the attached images) which represent the area that could be declared. The Ivers Parish Council favour a parish wide AQMA covering all three villages and have communicated this to SBDC. This would enable a more comprehensive approach to be taken to improve the air quality for our residents.

The matter is to be discussed at the Healthy Communities Policy Advisory Group on Thursday 22nd February.

Residents can send comments to: envhealth@chiltern.gov.uk as this makes sure that the emails received are recorded on their database and Cllr Paul Kelly the Chairman of the Healthy Communities Policy Advisory Group (SBDC) Cllr.Paul.Kelly@southbucks.gov.uk. in advance of the meeting.

Please follow the links below to view the reports.
