Heathrow Third Runway
The Ivers Parish Council is totally opposed to the construction of a third runway at Heathrow Airport and the associated developments in the region.
The many consultation documents identify several areas within The Ivers Parish for airport related developments and infrastructure and yet there is no joined up presentation of the cumulative effect of all the proposals on the Ivers. Despite the close proximity of the parish boundary to the proposed new runway, in many of the proposals, The Ivers Parish is literally ‘off the map’. There are a large number of options proposed for the Ivers and the significant impacts of these individually and cumulatively are not made clear. However, it is clear that there will be a detrimental impact the quality of life for our residents and we therefore request that a specified detailed summary is provided for The Ivers (especially Thorney) as for other communities.
Specifically we would like to see an assessment of the cumliative impacts of noise and air quality coupled with the impacts of the individual options proposed.
