Playgrounds & Outdoor Gyms Reopening July 4th 2020

Dear Residents

In line with Government guidance we are reopening our playgrounds and outside Gym equipment on Saturday July 4th.

We have given careful thought to the measures needed to provide a safe environment for those using the play and outdoor gym equipment and to ensure the safety of our staff too at a time when the Covid-19 pandemic is still ongoing.

The Parish Council is implementing cleaning and disinfecting of the frequently touched parts play areas and outdoor gym equipment; however, you must do your best to keep safe and you must use hand sanitiser.

Carry Sanitiser and wipes.

Consider wiping down the play equipment before and after your children play and before and after you exercise if using the outdoor gym equipment.

Sanitise your hands and the hands of children when entering and exiting the play area.

Do not touch face, eyes, nose or mouth whilst in the play area or using the gym.

Don’t allow your children to put their mouths on the play equipment or their hands in their mouths.

Cover the mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve (not hands) when coughing or sneezing.

Put used tissues in the bin straight away
Take your rubbish home.

Vulnerable & Extremely Vulnerable Users:

If your child is classed as vulnerable or extremely vulnerable please call the Parish Council in advance to arrange a time slot for your use, the play area will be cleared of visitors and equipment will be disinfected by our staff in advance, no other users will be permitted in the play area during your visit.
