THREE DAYS TO GO!! THE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN QUESTIONNAIRE IS CLOSING SEPTEMBER 29TH!

The Neighbourhood Plan Questionnaire 2017 Pre-Paid Reply Questionnaire has been hand delivered through resident’s doors. It is also available for online completion at the parish council website. To access the online questionnaire please visit our website and select Neighbourhood Plan from the top menu bar on the home page, select Documents, select Neighbourhood Plan Questionnaire 2017 and scroll down to the end of the page to ‘Start Survey’ http://www.iverparishcouncil.gov.uk/neighbourhood-survey-2017

All residents over the age of 16+ are invited to respond. To date 339 paper copies have been returned out of the 4,000 hand delivered to residents and 137 questionnaires have been completed online, there are a further 296 online surveys that are reported as response pending, we would encourage those residents who have yet to finalise their questionnaire to do so.

Yes, we know its lengthy, yes, we know it takes time to complete, but please do take the time to have your say, it really does count! You do not have to answer all the questions, you can choose to only answer those you feel strongly about, your opinions matter so please do try and complete the Questionnaire as fully as possible.

A Neighbourhood Plan, usually prepared by the parish council, is complementary to the Local Plan and sets out the local community’s vision, and planning policies for future development in the parish. IT becomes a statutory document in the local development framework for the area and must be considered by SBDC when deciding planning applications. This provides a real opportunity to influence the way the parish develops in the years to come.
