*** UPDATE! MANSION LANE WASTE DISPOSAL ***

Dear Residents,

The following is an update from Buckinghamshire County Council on their investigation into alleged waste disposal at the land on Mansion Lane, Iver.

‘We have written to the landowners’ planning agent, who has confirmed in writing, that their client will comply with our requirement to remove the imported waste at the site. We have formally agreed a 6 week time scale for this to take place and we will continue to monitor this to ensure that 1) the activity does not recommence and 2) they actively work towards compliance and are likely to achieve this within the agreed timescale.

The requirement to remove the material at the site does not extend to the soil bunds and the fencing erected at the site. This matter falls in line with the planning application currently being considered by the District Council and, should this be refused, the requirement to remove the bund and fencing, would fall to the District Council to enforce.

Please be aware that the removal of the waste will create HGV movements and possibly the use of an excavator on the site.’
